So we all know that a habit can be one we want to start or one we want to stop. And the first thing you have to do is to make that decision to either start one or stop one. That’s the easy part, the part that comes next, not so much. But it is possible and it can be achieved by following these 3 tips…
- Take small steps…don’t try to do everything at once
- Write it down and be specific about your plans for achieving it
- Daily repetition…doing it over and over or not doing it
Some say it takes 21 days to make a habit, some say 30, some say even longer. I say don’t go by that. We are all different and we go at our own pace, plus I think that some habits are going to be harder to conquer than others. So be patient and don’t beat yourself up if you stumble. Instead, close your eyes, take a deep breathe, and keep going! Remember life is a journey, not a perfect path!!
